AI Career & Skills Signals

AI career skills signals dashboard showing job posting data, Python, SQL, APIs, and machine learning skills

AI is changing the skills employers look for, but how can you tell which skills are actually appearing in job postings?

AiCareerTrack Signals examines current job postings from a monitored group of employers across technology, healthcare, transportation, finance, manufacturing, and energy.

We identify skills appearing across multiple employers and examine how frequently those skills are mentioned.

Our goal is to help you make better-informed decisions about what to learn, which career opportunities to explore, and where to focus your professional development.

Want to turn these findings into practical next steps? Explore our Choose Your AI Learning Path guide to identify skills worth developing based on your experience, career goals, and interests.

For broader information about career opportunities, educational requirements, and employment outlook, explore the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook. This government resource provides additional context beyond the employers monitored by AiCareerTrack Signals.

Important: These findings represent our monitored employer sample, not the entire U.S. job market. Job counts and skill signals may change as postings are added, updated, or removed.

Skills Appearing Across Current Job Postings

The AiCareerTrack Signals system examines job postings from 10 monitored employers and identifies skills mentioned across their available openings.

Each skill signal includes information about how frequently the skill appears and how broadly it is represented across the monitored employers.

Strong Signals — Skills that appear across at least 75% of monitored employers and in at least 5% of analyzed job postings.

Developing Signals — Skills that appear across at least two monitored employers and in at least 2% of analyzed job postings but do not meet the Strong Signal threshold.

These classifications describe patterns within the current employer sample. They do not measure nationwide demand or predict future hiring.
